Day 2 – Best Not To Color The Rest

Hi everyone,

A very simple card idea today to show when it’s best not to color the rest!

Owl (I’ll) show you with just one clear stamp set and an ink pad, you can quickly put up a card easily.

Are you ready?

Armed with just Penny Black Bugsy and Owly, and Memento Rich Cocoa dye ink pad, this is what I came up with,

Penny Black Owly and Bugsy Card Idea

I selected two owls in this clear stamp set.  One with a sleepy eye and another with a super enthusiastic look!  They are adorable, aren’t they?

I stamped the sleepy one all over at the foreground and stamped some on post-it tag to use as masking.  I wanted a crowd, a crowd of owls looking bored and indifferent except one, that one OWL that says “Owl Miss You”.

And so, that special owl really stood out from the rest and by coloring just that, it delivers the message clearly…only that one special owl cares!

I do hope you like this easy card making idea.  Have fun creating some interesting visual work with your stamps!
