Birthday Card CASology Challenge Inspired Creation

Hi everyone,

It’s Wednesday for me and my usual playground is to visit CASology to check out their challenge card cue.

The card cue for this week is Birthday and I was inspired to make a simple birthday card (CAS style) but add a little sparkle using sequins.

Since my last shaker card, I have a huge pack of sequins and I have been so eager to use them…they are so pretty!

Here is my creation,

Although a very simple layout, but I can never quite enough of Hero Arts Border clear stamp that I have for almost 7 years!  Usually, the border itself is good enough to be a wonderful background or border stamping, but this time, adding a little sequins just give a new look altogether!

I stamped the sentiment using Penny Black 2908F woodmounted stamp with Versafine Habanero and then, I stamped the Hero Arts borders both left and right of the sentiment, using Versafine Olympia Green.

After that is done, I added some sequins, adhering them to the card using Ranger Glossy Accent.

I hope you like this very clean cut card but I must say that the sequins really spice things up a with that added sparkle!

Have a great crafting week ahead!
