I couldn’t resist CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #154 and wanted to join in the fun with a simple card using Mama Elephant Fair Feathers.
This is what I have created,
First, I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black and have it masked before stamping the feathers.
I am using this hammered textured paper and I find that only Versafine pigment ink is able to capture the details of the fine images perfectly and the ink spreads really richly and evenly over the photopolymer clear stamps.
After masking, I stamped the large feather first, followed by the smaller feathers as well as a few ink blotches using Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink.
I used Copic markers to add the colors to the feathers. After coloring the green area of the feathers, I used Copic RV95 to add some dots over the feathers for additional details.
I hope you like today’s sharing and do pop by over at CAS(E) this Sketch and check out all the lovely submissions! This is a great sketch for cardmaking.
