CAS(E) this Sketch using The Greeting Farm Dollie

Hello Dollie!

It’s been a while since I last used The Greeting Farm Dollie for my cards.  The images from TGF is very fun to color, especially the hair as you can really play around and add highlights to it to make it really lovely!

This time, I used Distress Markers for the water color of Dollie to achieve a softer effect for CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #113 compared to the earlier Dollie I did with Copic Markers.

Here is my creation for today,

I stamped the image using AMM Paper Stain - Caramel and water color the image with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  For finer details like the eye lashes, I used the markers and drew directly on the image for a sharper and more defined lines.  When that was done, I trimmed the four corners of the paper with round corner punch.

I am using Fabriano Water Color paper which is 140lbs for this project which I found it to be of great quality.

Next, I trimmed the image and adhered to a Kraft paper leaving a small border around it.

I cut out small pieces of ribbons and added to the back of the Kraft paper, following the suggested CAS(E) layout challenge.

When that was done, I adhered to the card base using foam tape.

I hope you have enjoyed this project.  Really simple and the whole emphasis is on Dollie.

I really love the Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  I find it easy to apply the color and it spreads really well.

Till then, have a great week ahead!
