CASology Week 150 - Graduation Challenge

Hi everyone,

I am glad to be back from my trip and get into my next challenge with CASology Week 150 - Graduation.

When I returned home, I was warmly welcomed by my package from Mama Elephant and finally, I get to own Three Amigos clear stamp set (it was out of stock for awhile) and just couldn’t wait to get my hands to it!

So, needless to say, my card for challenge submission uses this stamp set and even though the images didn’t quite have anything to do with graduation, but with a little imagination, I stamped the top hat upside down, added a little tassel and made it to look like a graduation cap.

Step by step instructions

  1. Stamp Racoon and crumbled paper using Versafine Onyx Black onto water color paper.
  2. Stamp top hat (upside down) using Versafine Onyx Black.
  3. Stamp sentiment using Versafine Habanero.
  4. Watercolor using Distress Markers/inkpad  and color brush pens.
  5. Attach water color paper to card base using Sook Wang double sided tape.

Really like the Three Amigos clear stamp set by Mama Elephant (click here to view all their stamp sets).

They are really versatile and the Raccoons are really adorable.  I am sure I will be using more of the images for different occasion.  Do check back again!

Tools and Supplies

I just want to highlight that for any double sided tape that I use for my projects, I have always been using this brand Sook Wang.  It is a Korean brand and it offers different width which suits different uses.

I have been using the 40mm width for many years due to it’s superb sticky quality.  Although it takes a little more effort in cutting into strips, but I still love it!  Do give it a try!
