Love is in the air…as Valentines Day is just coming up this weekend.
Lots of love and keeping it to color palette of white, brown, deep red and grey.
First, I stamped the latte mug from Lawn Fawn Love You A Latte clear stamp set on a brown Kraft cardstock with Black Memento ink. I colored with copic markers - Dark Red (R89), blending a little with the Colorless Blender (0) to mimic a reflection on the mug.
I used Copic - Dark Brown (E47) for the Latte and also blended a little with the Colorless Blender (0).
I cut out the mug using Lawn Fawn Love You A Latte Dies.
Next, I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Crimson Red and added all the hearts around it.
I cut out the tag using Mama Elephant Sew Fancy Creative Cuts, scored the two sides to create a more distinct border.
I inked the four sides of the tag with my trusty aged AMM Paper stain ink pad in Chocolate color.
I positioned the mug on the tag to where I would want it to be and shaded a little grey using Copic C5 and C7 for the shadow. I blended the two tones together with the Colorloess Blender as well.
Next, I cut a small slit at the center where the card folds and run through this very rustic twine and tied a knot at the end of card.
And finally, I adhered the whole tag over the card base with foam tape.
I hope you like this card. I particularly like Lawn Fawn’s Love You A Latte clear stamp set. It’s adorable, versatile and you get to make really interesting cards very quickly! Check out my other cards using this stamp set.
