CMCC #91 – Almost No Line Water Coloring

Hi everyone,

This is the final challenge for the month of September at Colour Me! and the 5th challenge is always fun as you get to choose the palette you prefer.

This week, I absolutely adore the color combination and there will be plenty of things you can create with, even something with little critters too!  I am playing with the first group of colors and it’s really a lovely mix of pastel shades.

CMCC #91

This is what I have created using WPlus9 Wishing You clear stamp set using no line water coloring…well, almost no line.  🙂

This clear stamp set is pretty new and if you have been following my Instagram, you would have noticed that I have a new bunny at home and well…that explains why I am so into bunny now, even in my creations! 🙂

I am using Distress Markers – Bundles Sage, Pumice Stone and Worn Lipstick for this card’s color.  I stamp the bunny on a piece of water color paper by applying the Distress Marker Pumice Stone directly onto my clear stamp set.  Next I stamp the hearts using Worn Lipstick.

I did the water color of the bunny and hearts using the same Distress Markers inks.  For small grass patch, I used Distress Markers Bundled Sage.

When all the coloring is done, I stamped the sentiment using Lawn Fawn Fawndamental Inkpad – Wild Rose.

I trim the water color paper to a smaller size and run through my Evolution Advanced machine to emboss the four sides of the water color using Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders (check out this card for other uses of the Stitched Borders Dies).

Next, I added the pink lace ribbon as well as a pale green twine across the water color paper, tucking the sides of the pink ribbon behind it.

On the card base, I adhere a pink and green pattern paper over it to create a background of similar color palette as the challenge.

Lastly, I attached the water color over to the card base using foam tape.

I hope you like this creation and hope to see your creation using this fun color palette.  Check out my wonderful team for more inspiration:
