Digital Stamps from Card Making Artists

Hi everyone,

So glad and honored my Valentine’s Day Card created in January won two separate challenges - CASology Challenge and Card Making Artists blog, a wonderful online community to connect card makers run by Tam Hess.

I have been rewarded a few Digital stamps from Tam and here is what I came up today using one of the stamps - Kitty Dreaming, which I used part of the image for this project.

I printed the image on water color paper as I intended to do water coloring (yes…again…I am so hooked on it) and after finished coloring, I die cut the image using Die’sire Nouveau Stamping Frame, using the larger rectangle in the set.

Next, I die cut using Nesting Lace Rectangles from Lifestyle Crafts using a green smooth card stock.  I adhered my water color paper over the card stock using craft glue.

For the card base, I embossed the small polka dot using the embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers.

I tied the Twinery (Seaweed) across my card base, and adhered my image cut-out over the twine using foam tape.

Tam has several wonderful designs featured in her Etsy shop, do take a look at her creations.  As I mentioned earlier, this card uses part of the image, you should check out the full image available on her Etsy shop, Kitty Dreaming is really adorable!

Here is the full image but I have only used part of it for this card,

I really like the owls on her shop as well as they are well designed to let you play around with various colors!

Stay tuned as I will be adding more projects using Tam’s digital stamps creations. This is the first time I am using Digital Stamp and I think it is really wonderful, you get to adjust the image size according to your card and that makes it so versatile for different projects.

I hope you like this card idea.
