Easy Peasy Card Making

Easy peasy card making ideas using The Alley Way Lemon Squeezy clear stamp set.

This is a small set, yet with so much versatility.

I stamped the lemon wedges as close to the edge of the card as possible and stamp another image on a post-it tag to do masking.  For the rest of the lemon wedges, I did the same thing by stamping it as near to the edge of the card as possible so that I can trim the card according to the shape of the wedges.

After that, I stamped the sentiment and added all the lemon drops all over.  I don’t know, it just looks so juicy now!

Something a little different from the other cards where the edges are straight.  This is something fun and delightful because of the color.  I have used color pencils for the skin of the lemon.  Because of the textured card I am using, coloring with color pencils will have parts of it that is still white as the color pencils can’t reach into the “deeper grooves” of the textured paper.  That makes it similar to the look of the lemon skin!

For the rest of the yellow lemon flesh, I have used copic marker YG00 and blended with Copic blending pen to make it lighter and translucent.

I really hope you like this and if you do have The Alley Way Lemon Squeezy clear stamp, I think this card is really nice and easy to make.  Have fun crafting!
