Totally inspired by the color and sketch by Fusion Card Challenge this week.
I love the combination of orange and brown, but adding teal to this just makes it totally awesome!
This is what I have created using Mama Elephant Type It Clear Stamp and Coordinating Cuts.
And yes…Hey! Hey! Hey….this card is crying out “Look at me!” LOL…
So this week, I played along with the color theme as well as the layout suggestion and instead of my usual stamping to get the background, I decided I will add layers by playing with pattern paper this time.
I cut out several “hey” word from Mama Elephant Type It coordinating cuts using a brown pattern paper.
I layered the teal pattern paper (it has very very subtle dots all over the teal pattern paper) according to the layout and individually adhered “hey” across.
Next, I found a faint teal pattern paper from Basic Grey paper pad and stamped the typewriter and paper with bright Versacolor Orange Pigment ink. I also stamped the sentiment “Hey there” with the same ink.
I cut out both using the coordinating cuts after the ink is dry and adhered all to the card base using foam tape.
Lastly, I added Ranger Glossy Accent on all the typewriter keys…it just makes the keys look so real that I wanna type on it!
I hope you like this card. Cheers!
