Girls’ Night Out? Using SSS Slumber Party Stamps and Dies

Hey everyone,

Today I am going to share with you this card using Simon Says Stamp Slumber Party stamps and dies.  This is long overdue.  I received this complimentary set from SSS a couple of months ago and never quite put a card together until today.

As you know, I really love clean and simple and loads of white background.  I decided on making a background of items related to slumber party and have the adorable girl image die cut out and adhere to the card using foam tape to add more dimension.

Here is my creation,

On a white card stock, I trace a light border around it (approximately 1cm border) and stamp all the small images inside the border using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

On a separate white card stock, I stamped the girl image Memento Tuxedo Black Ink as well and have it die cut.

I color all images using copic markers.  For the background card stock, I colored round the whole card stock to give a fine purple outline.  This gives a fine thin border once it is adhered to the card base.

Next, I adhere the die cut onto the background cardstock using foam tape.

The whole design is adhered to the white card base using my favorite, Sook Wang double sided tape.

Here is the inside of the card.  For a crisp nice black stamped sentiment, I used Versafine Onyx Black Pigment ink.
