I just bought two sets of cling stamp from The Greeting Farm featuring Dollie and while this card didn’t quite use the character Dollie but I wanted to show you how small images can actually be the main highlight of the card.
So, here is what I did this afternoon. It was a warm day to begin with…
First, I blended the card base with green chalk, using an oval Scallop stencil to make the area the highlight of the card.
Next, I stamped the ice cream and embossed with clear embossing powder.
I stamped “Life is Good” sentiment and embossed it with clear embossing powder as well.
Here is the inside of the card, I took part of the sentiment from Dollie with Bow and put it together for the message.
By mixing the wordings a little, I felt that the outside message kinda lead to the inside message to make the whole sentiment more complete.
I stamped the inside message and embossed with clear embossing powder as well.
Next was the coloring which I used Copic Markers and I added a little more accent to the ice cream but adding little dots and small strokes using Signo White Gel Pen.
And it’s done!
I hope you like this design. I am going to explore a little more with these two cling stamps sets and see what else I can create with these. Check back again soon!
