Lawn Fawn Card Challenge - White on White Monochromatic

Lawn Fawn Card Challenge run by Lawnscaping is really something I want to participate in as I am a great fan of Lawn Fawn.  I love Lawn Fawn, did I mention that before?  Oh yes, it’s in my wish list to get more of their wonderful stamps, they are so versatile, pretty and you can do a whole lot with their stamp set.

So, Challenge No 95 is actually…quite a challenge.  White on white Monochromatic, mmm…that really sets my brain working.

Challenge No. 95
So, I browse through my Lawn Fawn stamps collection and from there, I got inspired to make this card for an old friend of mine who lives across the globe!  Perfect!  So here it goes,

I stamped the sentiment using Versacolor Pigment Ink - Cyan and embossed with clear embossing powder.  That adds a little shine to it and it’s lovely.  Next, I did the blending of Tim Holtz Broken China Distress Ink to form the clouds and sky.  I just had to make sure it’s a “cloudy” sky and not too much blue.

So there you go, just one stamp, add a little technique of blending inks, that is what you are able to achieve with the wonderful design by Lawn Fawn.  Thanks to Lawnscaping for running this bi-weekly challenge.  Love it!
