Rainbow birthday Card Ideas with Distress Ink Blending

Happy Sunday to all,

Inspired by four separate challenges, I decided to put together a birthday card using Tim Holtz Distress Ink blending technique to line up the rainbow colors in rows across the card.

Just nice, I need to have a birthday card to be sent out immediately and I hope the rainbow theme will inspire my friend for her own crafting creation!

Here is today’s creation,

After stamping the Scripty Sayings from Lawn Fawn using Watermark ink, I embossed with Gold embossing powder.

I masked the top and bottom of the card and started blending with Distress Ink using the Mini Round blending tool.

I really love how the rainbow colors fuse into each other using this blending technique.

I decided to add seven sequins to add more sparkle and shine and these sequins are also the seven rainbow colors.  The sequins are adhered to the design using Rnager Glossy Accent.

I hope you like today’s creation.  A very simple card, but it is extremely fun to play with rainbow colors as it really brightens up the project.
