I am really very tickled by this gingerbread man from Oh Snap by Lawn Fawn, so here I am, going to share a shaker card idea with you using this small stamp set.
Here is my creation,
As you can see, lots of die-cutting of the broken piece of gingerbread foot but it is really fun to see all the tiny pieces that is neatly cut by Evolution Advanced.
I have used Brilliance Archival Pigment ink – Galaxy Gold to stamp the happy gingerbread man on the blue cardstock to create the background inside the shaker card.
I die cut the happy gingerbread man and use that as a stencil. I mix texture paste with the Brilliance Archival Pigment ink – Galaxy gold, to create the pale gold paste and apply to the outside of the shaker card.
When the texture paste is dry, I use Hero Arts Silky Sponge, pick up ink from the Galaxy Gold ink pad and dab all over the outside of the shaker card. This creates a darker gold tone and adds shimmer as well.
I use MFT Pierced Oval Stax for the window and I have the shaker card on double layer of foam so that the die cut, sequins and glass beads can move around in the shaker window more easily.
I attached the die cut broken gingerbread man on top of the shaker using Ranger Glossy Accent and also applied a thick layer on the gingerbread man.
I have also stamped the sentiment on the cover of the shaker using the same Brilliance ink pad.
My intent is to make a fun card and focusing on the broken Gingerbread man.
Hope you like this shaker card idea by using die card as the shaker.
