Shaker Card using Echo Park Paper Dies

Happy Saturday everyone,

About a month ago, I bought Echo Park Paper Dimensional Diamond Die Set and made a card last month by just cutting out the shape of the diamond and playing around with embossing folder.

From the last design, I realized I should try making a shaker card in the blue area and for today, I replicated that same design but made it into a shaker card using Echo Park Paper Dies.

Here is my creation,

This set comes with two dies, one is the diamond shape, which I have used it to cut out the window.

The other die is the outline of the diamond, which I cut it out, embossed with sparkling embossing powder and layer over the plastic acetate with foam tape.

For the blue background in the shaker card, I have used Distress Marker - Tumbled Glass and color with Wink of Stella - Clear.

From my past shaker cards, I have always use one single layer of fun foam.  I often experienced having the sequins clump together and making it difficult to move around.

I have learned from a fellow craft friend to use two layer of foam, which I have done so for this piece.  True enough, the sequins and beads moved easily and is a much better shaker card!

This die set is wonderful as the cut is clean and intricate.

Do check out my other card using this same die set.

I have searched on Echo Park Paper Co website for the product link, but unfortunately, I can’t find it but managed to find some for sale at Amazon.  Here is the Echo Park Paper Dimensional Diamond Die Set link to Amazon,

The sentiment is from W9Plus Sparkle and Shine Clear Stamps Set, stamped on Mama Elephant bold banner die cut using Simon Says Stamp Audrey Blue Dye Ink.

I hope you like today’s creation, it is a clean and simple design for today, playing around with just die cuts and adding different dimension to it.
