Using Mama Elephant Stamps to make V Day Card

Using my Mama Elephant Stamps (Love from Above) to make this V Day card this morning.  I really adore all these characters from this clear stamp set and how this stamp set was designed to allow for a variety of images to be created.

Inspired by CASology challenge with cue card - DATE, I thought of using this stamp set to create a Valentine’s Day card with a significant message “Be Mine”.

First, I stamped the little angel and masked it with the same trimmed image using a post-it tag.

I then stamp the rest of the clouds and using the same technique of masking with post-it, I stamped a few more clouds to create an illusion that it’s multi-layered, in line with Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week which I intend to participate.

I colored with copic markers for the angel while using Wink of Stella White for the wings.  When that was done, I stamped the sentiment as well as the red heart.

I used blue chalk to blend the sky as I wanted the overall effect to be very light and dreamy.  And that’s done for my submission to two challenges this week.

*** Update: I am also submitting to SSS Wednesday Challenge, theme - Something New.  If this V Day Date is a success, it’s going to be a NEW LIFE!
