Here’s a fun shaker card wishing you brighter days ahead!
I am using Avery Elle Weather It clear stamp and the whole focal point is the colorful umbrella.
I wanted the background to be dark so that the sequins and beads can stand out a little more and basically focus everything just on the colorful umbrella.
Here is my creation,
I added foam behind the umbrella as well, so none of the beads and sequins will go behind the umbrella, it kind of shows that the umbrella is shielding off all the beads and sequins! Isn’t that fun?
I am using MFT In&Out Stitched Rounded Square dies for this shaker card and I really love it!
The cut is clean and the stitches are all evenly pierced!
I use Evolution Advanced which has a dial to adjust the cutting pressure. For MFT dies, I adjust the dial to either 13 or 14 in order to get a better and cleaner cut. My usual dies from other brands like Mama Elephant, Lawn Fawn, Quickutz, Paper Smooches are usually cut at dial number 12.
I hope you like today’s creation. I am really getting into the mood for more shaker cards, are you? Check out my other shaker cards and join me in making more of these fun cards! If you would like to share your shaker cards, feel free to leave a comment and link back to your creation, I’d really love to see them!
